Performance
The 2022 model year’s 285-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine has carried over into the 2023 edition, but this time with the option to add mild-hybrid eTorque support if desired. This vehicle can also be had in four other powertrains: a 270 horsepower 2.0-liter turbo-four, a 375-horsepower plug-in electric hybrid, a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel® V6, or a beastly 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine. No matter which powertrain drivers should choose, the 2023 Jeep Wrangler will be able to tow up to 3,500 lb of cargo.
As with other new Jeep SUVs, you’ll have the choice of multiple 4WD systems. For true off-roading freedom, drivers will want to choose the Rock-Trac® 4x4 system that comes standard on the Rubicon Trim, alongside features like a Tru-Lok® Electronic Locking Differentials and the Electronic Front Sway Bar Disconnect that make this trim the ideal off-roading vehicle.
